Years ago I had some fender flares custom made for a 1966 Ford Bronco. The guy who made them fabricated them off of the front fenders while they were still on the Bronco. He then was able to remove them from the front fenders and custom fit them to the back. My question is what might he have used so that they would release themselves from the front fenders without any damage to the front?
