Cat urine and odor removal

In reply to smell of cat urine from furniture etc. by Virginia alexander on February 15th, 2004 08:44 AM [Go to top of thread]

My house had tried it all over a five-year span for pet odor removal--specifically cat urine...THE NASTIEST OF THEM ALL...and none worked. @ a recent trip to my vet's office, I complained about the smells in my carpets/closets @ home and how I bought the shelves of products @ Petsmart and nothing worked. The Vet said she'd never carried a urine product before in her life but she'd just begun carrying one--Urine-Off--that she swore by. Despite the price, I figured it was worth a try, if my vet would recommend it. I bought 2 bottles of Urine-Off---and not only did it take the smell out of the carpet and interior of my closet, but I used it on a bathrobe that the cat had peed on and made a permanent yellow. It REMOVED every trace of a stain! So--Ask a Vet...they'll know what works best.
