We recently installed laminate wood flooring in our kitchen and I've used Murphy's oil/soap (about 1/4 cup) per 2 gallons of water and I've also used Pine Sol to clean and there is a film on floor like I've simply swooshed the dirt around with the mop. I've also tried hands and knees - not fun.....kitchen is pretty big and flooring goes into foyer.
