We also have mice in our home. this is the first time that we've ever had this problem. First they were in our basement and my cat would play w/ them until he killed them and then just left them there for me in the morning. There were only about 5-6 mice and my cat got them all. So we thought our problem was gone, but it wasn't. I was in our garage one day cleaning it out and i moved something and 2 mice scattered. It turns out that they had been living in our garage too for some time because of the amount of mouse droppings. We cleaned out the garage and i haven't seen any more mice in there since. Now, they have gotten into the house. I think they have made a home in one of our couches. The cats will sit by the couch for while looking, so that was my first clue they might be there. I flipped the couch upside down this morning to find mouse droppings and i also heard some noises in the couch and my cat was all over the couch trying to get into it. I didn't find any mice, but i know they are there. I think they are also living underneath our kitchen sink in our cabinet. I haven't seen them but again, the cats are there at the cabinets and i also found some mouse droppings there. Help....this is driving me crazy especially now they are in the main part of the house. I have kids and pets and i don't want to set out any poison or traps. What do i do?!
