I am wanting to build a small set of stair steps leading up to the attic in our small home so that we can make the attic into a bedroom for my sons. I would like to get some instructions on how to do it from scratch ourselfs. I am wanting to keep the existing hole in the ceiling and run the steps up turn plat form then straight up without them coming our taking up to much room so I can have my dinning room back which is currently the livingroom and the livingroom back which is currently my sons room. We have to use the back door as an intrance at all times.
