No Heat2

Posted by Melissa on April 1st, 2004 10:55 AM

I have been battling the NO HEAT issue as well for the past few weeks (waiting for spring). I have to turn the heat off and on manually because cool air starts blowing after 20, 30, 40 minutes (it varies) rarely does it turn off by itself. We have had the furnace checked but the system worked perfectly when the technician was here. The light indicator flashes continuously which suppose to mean “flame sensed with no call for heat”. We have an Arcoaire Synder General RPJII. We have changed the thermostat but it continues in the same pattern. As I’m typing I’ve hiked the thermostat up to 78 degrees and it seems to stay heated longer. Any suggestions?
