I would definitely prefer aluminum over regular steel (not stainless), if you break the surface coating it corrodes a bit but doesn't rust to pieces like steel. Also I much prefer the seamless variety where they come with a truck and run it off in the proper lenght. Seams can leak, no seam won't.
