paint scraping?

Preparing home for sale, and hoping to save $$$ by scraping old exterior paint in areas that are easily reachable, but will probably hire painter to finish. Noticed that Rubbermaid has a scraper much like a hand sander. Anyone have experienced using it? I have a Sear industrial angle grinder(1 hp) that I had planned on using large areas, but thought I'd ask for advice, pointers, etc. before tackling the job. Planning on a complete exterior repaint; gutters, soffits, windows and trim. I know "dp" prefers elbow grease, any other suggestions? Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
