I discovered this on accident.

Soak the affected area in hydrogen peroxide---it will liquify the glue and it will come right off. I used a bowl of hydrogen peroxide and just put my hands in it for about 10 minutes. After that, they're wasn't a bit on me. Let me know if it works for you. jeffdavis3@aol.com
