Remote Fan not working.

I have a Hampton Bay remote 52" ceiling fan. the fan was working properly without trouble, but now it doesn't want to turn on not the fan nor the light. I have check the power on the fan and it has Electricity, Second I changed the battery on the remote and still nothing. the remote control light turns on when you press a button but nothing happens on the fan. Need help this was too expensive to just through it away.
