Do you have a drain tile and sump pump system for potential water problems? Talking from experience, they can happen when you least expect it, and it's less expensive to take necessary precautions before you put up your dry wall, carpeting, etc. Also what kind of ceiling? Will you have access to any pipes that happen to run to the main floor and could require repair in the future? Just relaying some items that I wish we had considered before our contractor finished off our basement.
