Thanks for your response. Sanding and painting is an option, but I thought buying a new cover would be more efficient in the long run. The prior owners tried "antiquing" the baseboards and did a horrible job. Is there any special paint I shoudl use due to the heat? What grit sandpaper should I use? Thanks Again -Steve
