I tried a Scothbrite pad with dishwashing liguid to remove food color stains on countertop and it did not work. Found someone's tip online to use the Mr.Clean Eraser Pad (counter was still damp with dishwashing suds on it from previous failed attempt to clean - don't know if this made a difference or not), I got the corner of the Eraser pad damp with water, and rubbed the stain and it took the stain out of the counter top immediately!
