top coat refinished kitchen cabinets.

the cabinets i have do not need refinishing, however due to a build up of grease from hands etc, when i tried to clean it off, the clear caot came off. I have tried a BEAR clear satin finish to re-coat, however, it came out too shiny. I want a dull matte finish. Anything you can recommend???
