How about any DIY toys in the garage or workshop ? Future thoughts of pool or spa ? Climate/location ? and 2,000 sqft....how many bedrooms?.....and bells & whistles ? Like already mentioned: calculate the load......but just 'eyeballin' it...you've got more demand than 100 AMP....... and New construction ?....It's never any cheaper than now/new........ Consider your future remodel.......It's always easiest to "work" in the BIG panels....w/big gutters....lots-o-elbow room......... Pre-Planning that Basement Bedroom ?.......PLAN NOW for the required emergency egress/access....... How's the planned Headroom?......any Bathroom?
