Clogged Kitchen sink water backing up in dishwasher

Hello
My kitchen sink is clogged. The garbage disposal and dishwasher have pipes that connect and therefore when I run water in one sink(I have two)it comes up in the other and when I turn on the disposal water fills up in the dishwasher.I've tried professional strength liquid plummer. What else should I do?
