Chris, I can't comment on either of those but I will say that I have a 12-1/2" Delta and have been very happy with it. I was concerned about blade replacement as this can be a real chore with some planers. It can be tough to set two blades to exactly the same depth in a very limited space. Replacement blades are reasonably priced on the Delta and locating the replacements in exactly the right position is easy.
