Except on long and heavy boards, I don't have any problem with snipe at all. Mine has the sheetmetal feed tables and you can adjust them so they are flat to a scochie bit up at the outside edges. I have never had a problem with 1x oak or even some 4x6 SY pine out to about 8 feet. I have seen it with whitewood 2x4's at 8 feet. My feed tables lost a lot of the paint to wear a while ago and I haven't adjusted them since I first got the planer so I may be able to adjust this out if it gets to be a problem. It's not enough to worry about now.
