GE Refrigerator Damper

Thanks to this sight, I did not have to pay to repair my GE Eterna series side by side refigerator. I purchased the frig March 2002. After reading the posts about the damper (frig side was freezing) I called ge repair who stated only one year nty, so i talked to cusomer service, after talking to 3 people finally they said yes there is a damper problem and it is covered. 3 days later ge repair comes out to fix it says he knows nothing about warranty, so after a little yelling to another 3 people they aggreed to cover the repair (IT WAS THE DAMPER ) I honestly believe there should be a class action lawsuit against GE to fix this obvious defect. If I had not read this website I would have paid$170!!
