I am having a problem applying polyurethane to my table top. I can not seem to find a way to apply it to have a smooth finish. I have sanded between coats and still the finish has brush lines and dry areas, when I try to touch them up it only looks worse. I do alot of finishing of furniture and it seems because the table top is such a larger surface this happens, any help? Thank you.
