Dan. Aluminum, Copper, or Zinc strips or sheeting @ the roof-cap will kill all the mold etc. on a roof. I bought a 50# bag of zinc sulphate @ Farm Bureau. I use it on my Pecan trees as a growth hormone. I diluted it with water and It made my roofs look new. Jerry
