i have repainted my kitchen cabinets so many times that they are sticky and gooey, i have sanded them and still nothing sticks...i used water based paint and water based kilz, and i even used a deglosser.............but still, i could scrape the paint right off... the original color was bright green which was soaked into the wood when i initially sanded them......that green still comes thru when scratched
