Hello
My husband and I just had one of those Rainbow salesmen come over to our home . Now I should explain my husband is an indoor Enviromental Engeeneer and I am a Manager at a sales motivated clothing store . Anyways he came in and proceded to show off this so called wonder vacuum . HEHE what a laugh we got when he left . He showed us all the bells and whistles and cleaned a small part of out carpet that I had just vacuumed , he put that bright light on the dust flying in the air that our vacuum makes then showed that hardly no dust arose using the Rainbow . Well as my husband explained to me after he left that if I noticed he kept it close to the floor and didn't disturb as much as to stippen the surrounding area . This is not the BIGGY thou . We after he had departed we took our vacuum and using a piece of the fabric he had left behind cleaned the same area he did with the Rainbow ,LOL , it was just as bad as what he was demonstarting our vacuum left behind , not only that but the sofa cushion he stuffed in a plastic bag and sucked all the air out of also still had the same amount of debris on the fabric swatch when we did it with our vacuum also .
I have to say this is why they are so pushy while in your home ! Probally because a few of those smarter people would have done the same test we did . I also have to mention that 85 CFM is less then the typical bathroom fan . You would have to run the air cleaning part 24/7 to get any benefit from it .Who could stand that noisy motor all day !!!
My husband has degrees and indoor air quality and he simply said NOT worth half the price they want !!!
Thanks a abunch
A very concerned comsumer
