You are wonderful!!!! We spilled dark pink nail polish on beige carpet in the middle of the family room--a big 5 foot area of pink polish stripes and pools!!! We are getting ready to sell the house and the carpet is only one year old! After smearing it around with nail polish remover and making it worse we used shaving cream and damp white wash cloths like you suggested. It took a lot of cream and a lot of scrubbing but the carpet looks beautiful! It even got out some grime we didn't even know was in the carpet! Thanks so much!
