Quality sure, that matters, but it also should be UL listed for wet conditions. Humidity will cause the fan blades to warp, because wood will absorb moisture, but if it is UL listed for wet conditions it would have wood that is properly sealed for wet conditions. Humidity will also cause the fan to wobble, due to the warped blades
