I recently called a garage door company in Fredrick Maryland because I needed the tension on my springs tightened. Due to an accident the springs lost tension. Because it was on a Saturday the guy told me it would cost $400.00. I think I'll keep looking. I was going to try it myself but after reading all the messages I'll hire someone.
