We are purchasing a new home with a 250' driveway. Right now, it is a mess. We would like to smooth it out to make it more driveable. Right now, we do not have the $ to put in a nice cement/ashphalt drive. Is there something we can do to make this drive 'driveable and attractive at the same time, for right now? I know about laying down gravel. Which kinds of gravel are the best ... and is there anything out on the market right now that is new and inexpensive to use to make it pack down nicely ... like concrete would? Please advise. Thanks.
