Walls

Posted by Maria on April 18th, 2004 10:29 AM

I bought a getaway cottage which is actually part of the attic of an old estate. The whole building had been converted to tiny apartments. What I want to know is how to fix the walls, they have a really ugly rough texture. The paint looks really old and the texture is peeling exposing a pink primer in many areas. How do I resurface the walls and make it seem larger at the same time? I can't do any intensive work, because we aren't allowed to make structural modifications. It is peeling off in flakes everywhere. Please help!
