My first advice is that you go to a dedicated paint store such as Benjamin Moore, Kelley Moore, or Sherwin Williams to obtain professional assistance and top quality products. You will need to use an oil based primer with stain bleed protection. The primer can be tinted to make the finish coat cover with 1-coat. The finish coat can be latex based. Be sure to ask for a preferred customer card to get a discount of about 20%.
