Replacing Vinyl windows with wood ones

Casement windows are the best for sound deadening. If you want double hung window, get one with foam filled frames and double strength glass( the glass is double the thickness of the glass on standard windows.) The thickness of the vinyl makes a difference as well. The vinyl windows in Depot offer all of these. I have the same problem where I live. I hope to buy them for my home before the winter comes.
