Tomh and Doug, I helped a friend make a "contraption" a few yrs ago. Same principal as your blower but was made to hook to garden hose. Fitting to accept hose, 1/4 turn ball valve, 6ft of 3/4 copper pipe, reduced to 1/2 pipe to desired length, J-bend using fittings, 45 deg elbow with 3" stub which was flattened to create a fan spray. Works well to clean pine needles from porch gutters. Don't know how it would do with leaves and twigs and wouldn't use it around electric lines. If I had to make another one, I would add a tee with a capped 4" nipple about 28" to 30" up from the valve just to use as a handle for better control. Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
