Red Water or iron in water

Have a well for irrigation purposes. It there some equipment that can be attached to the irrigation system to eliminate the iron as I pump water from well. Currently am using a system that adds a liquid into water as is passes from well to sprinkler system.

Let me know if there is anything that is easier and less costly to work.
The cost to remove iron is costing approximately 7.50 per gallon.
