I had a new heataing and air system installed about 2 months ago. Last night I noticed that the AC was not cycling, but staying on. I turned the unit off at the thermostat, raised it to above 90 degrees, and turned it back on. Then I began to lower the thermostat to see where it would kick back on at. It kicked back on at a setting of around 85 degrees. It was in the 50's in the house. Can someone tell me of any tests I can perform to see if the thermostat is indeed the culprit? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
