The thin plastic sealant on new pots and pans was left in storage in hot weather. The plastic adhered to the copper pots and pans and nothing I have tried will remove it. I have tried boiling water, lemon, catsup, fire, copper cleaner, etc. Anyone have any suggestions? Will acetone hurt the copper if I try it?
