If upholstered (not leather), using a shampooer
and a shampoo with deoderizer added should help.
May take more than one time around. They can be rented pretty cheap, usually a carpet shampooer with attachment for furniture. If the cushion covers can be removed (zippers) they can be washed using baking soda, all fabric bleach, and I like to add Pine Sol. And air outside if possible. That would be second to deep shampoo method. Good luck!
