In the summer of 2003 my husband & I replaced 10 windows in our home all by ourselves with the Series 7000 Double Hungs. We were thrilled and relieved with the ease of installation as the amateurs that we are. The windows look great, keep out a lot of outdoor sound and saved us a great deal of money on our winter heating bills. Next week we are about to undertake the task of an 87" front room picture window with flanking double hungs now that we have more experience. Wish us luck. We would highly recommend these windows and Lowes did a great job of correcting any minor defects in a couple the sashes due to smudging in between the glass. They were replaced beautifully and quickly. Having a good sales rep at Lowes made the entire process possible for us! Thank Gary R.! Keep up the good work!
