chking a well line for a leak? please help!

Sht the water off past the pressure tank. Watch the pressure gauge and if the pressure falls you have a leak on the well side of things. If not the you have loose fittings allowing the system to suck air or you don't have any water over the pump inlet in the well. If your well point is blocked you can water but can't suck it out if not water can run into the well to replace what you pump out. Although I don't know much about well point wells at all.
