We have a GE convertible dishwasher model GSC901, purchased in 1982. It has never given us any trouble except for the plug (we are still using it as a portable), which gets very hot sometimes, and the outlet we plug it into seems to be losing some of its ceramic coating. Most recently, it stopped the cycle in the middle--dishes seemed reasonably clean but not very hot. I'm nervous about using it again.
