I'm a novice at windows and was hoping someone out there could give me some advice. I'm installing a 7 foot wide Andersen casement(s), actually it's 2 seperate windows mulled together at the factory, and have been told that I should shim the bottom just in case the sill warps in the future. Seems to me I should only shim to get the window level, if needed. Anybody with experience have any suggestions? Thanks.
