I am looking at a house thats for sale and I might buy it. However there is one problem. Back in the early 1900s a man and woman lived in a house on this same street and they had an argument. The woman left and later the man felt sorry for her. He went to find her but she was hiding in the bushes near a bridge. The man couldn't find her so he jumped the bridge. If only he knew she was right next to him. The woman felt she couldn't live without him and jumped too.
It seems this has caused bad luck in the area and in the 1990s there were supposed to have been 3 wrecks on that same bridge. There is supposed to be a memorial there, but I haven't found it. So I am asking if it were up to you would you buy the house? It was also rumored a house that was being built had to be exorcised because of a ghost. Where do I go to find out if this is true or not? Is there a way to obtain old newspapers that might have articles on this?
