I think drywall might be to heavy for the grid work. Depending on your budjet FRP panels look nice layed in the grid, maintenence free, and easy to clean. These panels are made by Sequentia and are available in 2x4 and 2x2 panels. A comercial ceiling wholesaler can get them for you or you can get it at most retailers in 4x8 sheets.
