I was wanting to put stripes in my dining room use a very light gray as the base coat then using a slightly darker gray for the stripes, but while I left town for a couple of days my boyfriend decided to do it for me. It looks horrible! it is not even close to the soft sofisticated look I was going for. when you walk in the room the stripes stand out so bad it hurts your eyes. is there any way to soften up the stripes with out starting over?
