Sorry about the blank message preceding this one. I was looking for the apostrophe and accidently hit the return key.
NEWAY - Stand the molding up with the back of it against the back of the mitre box. Just like it looks on the wall next to the ceiling. Make sure that you position both pieces the exact same way in the box. What I mean is, if you are right-handed, then when you go to cut the left side, it would be easier to turn the molding upside down so you can cut right-handed. It is a little more difficult, but you will get better results if you either cut it left handed or, don't get me wrong, you can make the cut left side cut right-handed, but you need strong hands to keep the molding from shifting. Take some of your scraps and try a few.
