Each of the two cables connect to a different switch.......All of the wires are HOTS...."Blacks"
This is the one time you can "switch" the wires around without causing personal/property damage.....Work on one switch at a time .....turn the power OFF at the circuit breaker and check with a tester before proceeding.....
When the circuit's not working THE WRONG WIRE IS ATTACHED TO THE DARK SCREW......try trading one of the other two wires available in that cable with the "dark screw"......50/50 chance of getting it right.......turn the power ON and check......repeat if necessary
