I have a wrought iron railing on my second story
deck that has a brass cap and 298 brass rosettes.
Needless to say, polishing all this brass is not
an option (did I mention that I live on the water
which only hastens tarnishing?). I would like
to sand blast the railing and rosettes and paint
them in a gold antique to give this black wrought
iron railing some sparkle without all the polishing. Is this feasible? If so is there a
specific paint you would recommend?
