Thanks for the heads-up. I actually think about this issue for a couple times, and I am not sure what material is that.It's a sentional door and look like PVC type of thing and the horizontal part has been reinforced (with full length steel). I am thinking to put an angle iron to reinforce the vertical part but the only thing I can fasten to are some built in anchors on the door. The inside portion does not have any wood, metal, and completely look like PVC , it has built in anchors, all those handles, locks, hinges are fastened to those anchors using lag bolts. I have not much confidence with those anchors, worrying would broke them. But I guess I would have to go and try some free anchors on the side first. Regarding the lock, I have decided to remove the lock mechanism inside so that the lock won't actually do anything.
