A friend is selling her condo, flunked the municipal minimum housing standards inspection. Bedroom window, cheap builder's grade aluminum thermal window, tilt in type. Anyway, the lower half, that raises up and down; the exterior pane has a small hole and crack from a lawnmower throwing debris,( we guess.)How do I get the glass replaced? Can I take the frame apart, or do I take the whole frame to repair shop? Would it be easier to just try to buy a new frame w/glass?
