I am sorry that I don't have an answer, but I do have a question after reading this and your earlier post. What is creosote paint? Is it sold commercially through paint manufacturers? My only knowledge of creosote is its use as a treatment (very effective) for telephone/light poles and framing beams for trestles, bridges and the like. As it is the consistency of tar, I can't visualize how it can be painted on the surface of a building.
