Just wanted to add to the complaints about the washers. I have the same problem and have attempted to get rid of the odor with bleach and other cleaners to no avail. My machine is about 3 yrs old. I have had a Sears service personnel to come out. I was told that I needed to run a cycle with bleach at intervals. Now I need to know what to do next. Thanks for alerting other owners that the problem is not isolated.
