butter/oil stain on granite

Do NOT worry about using Acetone. I searched high and low for an answer and ACETONE was the ONLY thing that totally worked and did NOT damage the granite at all. In fact, it IS RECOMMENDED by stone dealers. Now I keep a can of Acetone in the kitchen for this kind of remedy. The 511 sealer seems to have helped immensely. I have sealed four times. Just follow directions on the 511 product.
